In this regard, there were no human casualties or material losses. He said that in the event of a natural disaster in the state, emergency rescue operations are carried out in coordination with all district collectors and relevant departments to provide immediate assistance to the victims. Megwal made his announcement on the matter in the Vidhan Sabha during zero hour on Friday. He said that the strongest earthquake measuring 4.4 on the reactor scale occurred at 4:09 am, the epicenter of which was the garden of Gulmohar, Bhankrota. The second shock of the earthquake was felt at 4:22 am, the epicenter of which was Manpur Balaji, Renwal Manji, and its intensity was 3.1.
He said that the epicenter of the third shock was in Bhankrot, near the Pink Pearl Fun Fair water park, which was felt at 4:25 am. Its intensity was 3.4. Similarly, at 4:31 a.m., the fourth shock of the earthquake was felt, the epicenter of which was the resort of Shivam, Sarangpura, and its intensity was 2.5.
The Minister for Disaster Management and Relief said the department informs the public about natural disasters occurring in the state through information on a large scale. Along with this, preventive measures are carried out through print, electronic and social networks. He said that the State Disaster Control Center has been set up in the State Government Secretariat, Jaipur and District Disaster Control Centers in all District Collector Offices and is functioning continuously. In addition, NDRF, SDRF and civil defense teams are deployed to deal with natural disasters at the state and local level.
