Jaipur Abhayindia.com Minister of State for Higher Education Rajendra Singh Yadav said that under the Rajasthan University Teachers (Absorption of Temporary Teachers) (Amendment) Law No. 2023, eligible temporary teachers can be regularized through verification. Yadav was responding to the discussion of said bill in the Legislative Assembly on Monday. After deliberation, the House adopted the bill by voice vote.
Yadav said that earlier in 2008, the Rajasthan University Teachers (Absorption of Temporary Teachers) Ordinance was issued. A bill to replace the Ordinance was later passed by the Legislative Assembly. In accordance with this decree and the law, more than 300 teachers who were temporarily working at universities were transferred to permanent positions in the respective universities after they were found suitable by the selection committee.
He said that it had been brought to the attention of the state government that some interim yoga teachers/instructors who worked at the university prior to 2008 were not covered by the 2008 Ordinance. That is why the state government has decided to make such yoga teachers and instructors permanent after a selection committee finds them suitable. To this end, by amending the definition of temporary teachers in the Unification Act 2008 and granting relief within the 180 days provided for amalgamation by the original Act, the Rajasthan University Teachers (Temporary Teachers Association) (Amendment) Law 2023 brought. .
