Jaipur Abhayindia.com Minister of State for Transport Brajendra Singh Ola told the Assembly on Monday that 872 new permits have been issued for private buses in the Bikaner region over the past two years. The Minister of State for Transport stated in a written response to MLA Santosh’s original question during Question Hour that 35 new buses have been operated by the State Road Transport Corporation of Rajasthan in the Bikaner division over the past two years and bus operations on 7 routes have been stopped. He laid out the details on the chamber table.
He said that in the budget announcement for 2021-2022, work is underway related to the implementation of the announcement of the work of the rural transport service to connect about 6000 grams of panchayats deprived of transport service. He posted information about his updated status on the table of the Chamber.
Ola said that permits are issued by private bus operators in accordance with the rules for applying for approved routes for rural areas.
