BJP MLA Chandrakanta Megwal raised the issue of reducing the number of beneficiaries in the Food Security Scheme.

MLA Megwal asked the government why the number of beneficiaries was reduced in the Keshoreipatan constituency? In response, Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas said that many people who do not qualify are also benefiting from the food security scheme, becoming its beneficiaries. That is the reason why it was removed. Dissatisfied with the minister’s response, opposition leader Rajendra Rathor asked an additional question. But it was canceled by speaker Dr. S.P. Joshi. During this, there was a heated exchange of views between the speaker, Dr. S.P. Joshi, leader of the opposition and other members. After the speaker canceled the question, the opposition began to make noise. They approached the well, shouting slogans. Shouting slogans for some time, they left the chamber. Opposition leader Taoud said the MLA should not be stopped from asking questions.
