A mobile food lab camp was set up in Palana on Monday, where analyst Irfan Bhati tested 13 samples of chili, coriander, turmeric, butter, milk and ghee. 3 samples failed the test, but 10 passed. The failed samples were turmeric, chili and coriander, all of which were found to have color falsification. Chief medical officer and public health officer Dr. Mohammad Abrar Panwar said that any ordinary person can go to the mobile laboratory and check their suspicious food.

CMHO Dr. Panwar said that food samples brought in by ordinary people or traders will be tested by a mobile food laboratory in Karmisar on Tuesday, Udayaramsar on Wednesday, Murlidhar Vyas Nagar on Thursday and Nath Sagar Road on Friday. Indrajit Arethia, a food analyst at the Bikaner Public Health Laboratory, said food pre-testing is done by trained lab technicians in a mobile lab. This facility is provided free of charge to the general public.
