Bikaner Forest Deputy Defender Dr. S. Sarat Babu said that the scheme also provides an opportunity to buy seedlings online, for which the number of seedlings can be booked by clicking “Forest Nursery” on the FMDSS portal. For payment there will be an input through SSO ID. He said that after payment, the seedlings should be received from the interested nursery within 7 days by presenting the online payment receipt and ID.
The Deputy Forest Advocate said that the distribution of seedlings began on July 1, so the person receiving the seedlings can receive the seedlings by presenting their Aadhaar card to the person in charge of the nursery. According to this scheme, various institutions, departments and citizens are cooperating in landscaping outside the forests. According to the scheme, 1 lakh 65 thousand seedlings for 6 months and 5 thousand 30 thousand seedlings for 12 months were prepared in the nursery at the Forestry Department. The goal is to plant 1 lakh 39 thousand seedlings for Grampanchayats or Panchayat committees and 2 lakh 78 thousand seedlings for families.
