Singh revealed that 64.69% of contract employees working for NHM have been appointed under this new 2022 Civilian Contract Employment Rule. He said that out of 18,120 contractors, 11,723 were assigned under the new 2022 rule. He instructed the others to complete their assigned work by issuing orders to check employees.
NHM Mission Director Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni said work to select the remaining NHM contract workers for appointment under the new rule is ongoing in all districts. From July 26 to August 10, instructions were given to complete the operational-search work to collect documents of personnel. He reported that Ajmer, Baran, Chittorgarh districts on July 26, Dholpur, Jalawar, Pali districts on July 27, Jaipur I, II, Sawai Madhopur on July 28, Alwar, Barmer and Dungarpur districts on July 31 were called to the headquarters for inspection. Jaisalmer, Kota, Sikar, Junjhunu, Tonk and Banswara 2 August, Bharatpur, Bundi, Dausa, Jalor, Jodhpur, Churu, Nagaur, Rajsamand, Sirohi, Sirohi, Udaipur, Bhilwara, Karauli 8 August, 4 August, 3 August, 3 August, Hanumangarganagar, Bikaner and Pratapgarh. held on 4 August.
Dr. Soni said instructions were also given to take disciplinary action against the chief health officer of the respective county and the county review team due to the legal situation and other administrative responsibilities arising from the contract worker’s case not being sent by the due date.
