Bikaner Abhayindia.com District Collector Bhagwati Prasad Kalal’s innovative healthcare campaign was awarded the Silver Award in the District Administration category at the SKOCH SKOCH Awards 2023. The District Collector congratulated CMHO Dr. undertaken by the Department of Health during the year.
Other innovations brought by the district administration in the areas of good governance, education, health and inclusive development by district assembler Bhagwati Prasad Kalal were recognized as semi-finalists in four categories. These innovations include the Vigilant Anganwadi campaign, DIQE for digital education, decent rehabilitation for slum dwellers, and Pukar Abhiyan.
The classrooms were connected to Smart TV via DIQE, a digital innovation in education. The Vigilant Anganwadi campaign is being carried out to strengthen the infrastructure of the Anganwadi centers in the district. Slum Dweller Rehabilitation Innovation, recognized by the City Development Fund, was a semi-finalist for this award.
To date, more than 40 thousand schools have been created: Dr. Mohammad Abrar Panwar, Chief Medical and Health Officer, said that over 40,000 health and nutrition schools have been organized across the district since April 6 as part of the Pukar Campaign, with the participation of 5,50,154 women, pregnant women and girls – teenagers. At these meetings, 16,70,103 iron folic acid tablets were distributed, a record for the Anemia Mukt Rajasthan Abhiyan program.

Women’s awareness led to a 28% increase in ANC registrations in 12 weeks. Similarly, the number of pregnant women who received 4 ANC checkups increased by 25 percent. During this period, due to the increase in the number of births in institutions, the number of births at home decreased from 542 to 158. Maternal mortality decreased by fifty percent compared to last year. There is also a decrease in anemia in pregnant and lactating women.
