Bale presided over a meeting held in connection with the proposed bill in the auditorium of the Labor Commissioner’s office on Wednesday.

Bhale said that following the announcement of the budget made by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, a detailed discussion was held with representatives of the aggregators on the draft of the proposed Rajasthan Platform Workers Bill 2023. There was also a positive brainstorming session on the proposals given to them in the bill.

The proposed bill was attended by representatives of aggregators (Ola Cabs, Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit (Grofers), Amazon, Flipkart, Dmart, etc.) at the meeting. Public figure Nikhil De, representing gig workers, called the bill a historic initiative of the state government.
