Chief Secretary Sharma said that special vigilance should be exercised in areas of the division connected with the international border. Interstate activities should also be under close scrutiny. The police and administration must be aware of each area’s strengths and weaknesses. The District Collector and Superintendent of Police must regularly conduct inspections down to the lower level.

Police Director General Umesh Mishra praised the work of the police department in the Bikaner region and said that organized crime is effectively suppressed due to more effective police work. The activity of criminal gangs has decreased, and public confidence in the police has increased. He said that all police actions must be carried out in accordance with legal regulations. He instructed the police and administration to make joint field trips during the elections.
