Jaipur Abhayindia.com Starting January 2023, employees and retirees working under the State’s Fifth Pay Commission will receive an increased cost benefit. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot approved the proposal.
Under this proposal, an increase in the rate of costly benefit or costly compensation for civil servants and pensioners working under the Fifth Pay Commission and the Rajasthan State Civil Service Regulations (Revised Pay) 1998 was approved. Now, from January 1, 2023, the rate of high cost benefit or high cost benefit for such state employees and pensioners will be increased from 396 to 412 percent. From January 2023 to March 2023, the amount will be credited to the general reserve fund account of the relevant employees. Pensioners will receive an increased cash supplement from January 2023.
Gehlot approved the financial department’s proposal in this regard. This decision by the Chief Minister will benefit concerned state government employees and retirees.
