Bikaner Abhayindia.com International cyclist Monica Jat and national para-swimmer Pankaj Kumar will become icons of the district elections. The corresponding order was issued by the head of the election commission on Wednesday.
District Electoral Coordinator Bhagwati Prasad Kalal said that during a special brief program of minor voter roll review and voter awareness activities ahead of the upcoming 2023 General Assembly Elections, the District Electoral Badge will be participating in various awareness raising activities. These badges will inspire voters through video and audio media.
It is worth noting that Monica Jat from Bikaner became the bronze medalist of the Asian cycling competitions held in New Delhi. While representing India in the Asian Cycling competitions held in Malaysia and Kazakhstan, Monica also won numerous medals at the national level. On the other hand, national para swimmer Pankaj Kumar was the state champion from 2016-17 to 2023. At the same time, he won 14 gold medals at various levels and three bronze medals at the national level.
