Bikaner Abhayindia.com District Collector Bhagwati Prasad said the verification process should be stepped up to stop illegal mining in the district. The county collector gave these instructions at the tax inspection meeting on Saturday. He said that, in cooperation with the mining department and the police, the division’s employees should carry out spot checks and impose severe fines on those involved if illegal mining is discovered.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of Jal Jeevan’s mission. Bhagwati Prasad Kalal said that during the various activities of the mission, unit staff, along with development staff, should inspect and report on the repair of these roads in places where roads were dug for laying drinking water lines.

District Collector Bhagwati Prasad reviewed the progress of the contact portal and said that particular attention should be paid to the rationality and satisfaction of the applicant in handling cases. Officials will not upload settlement documents without reading them. He also spoke about the surprise inspections carried out in the state institutions of the district on Friday.

At the meeting, the Supplementary District Collector Omprakash received information on the division of accounts, assignment-delineation, farm book, Aadhaar registration and other pending income cases and gave instructions for quickly resolving the pending income cases.

The meeting was attended by UIT Secretary Yashpal Ahuja, IES Intern Yaksh Chaudhary, Chief Medical Officer and Public Health Specialist Dr. Abrar Panwar, and all staff from divisions and departments.
