Jaipur Abhayindia.com Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot said that the 2023 Rajiv Gandhi Rural and Urban Olympic Games will generate enthusiasm among the youth of the state, leading to good results in the future. He said there is no shortage of talent in the state. The state government provides the best opportunities for sports talent.

On Monday, Gehlot stopped 10 cars outside the Chief Minister’s residence to draw public attention to the Rajiv Gandhi 2023 Rural and Urban Olympic Games. These cars will go to all neighborhoods and assembly districts of the state along with creative teams and spread information about the sport. On this occasion, the Chief Minister passed the baton related to the organization of the Games to former international volleyball player Sushri Malti Chauhan. At the same time, Gehlot also released T-shirts, medals and certificates for the participants. The Chief Minister announced that the rural and urban Olympic Games will be organized from 10 July. About 57,000 players have registered to participate in these games.

According to him, old people, children, women and youth play these games together, thanks to which a positive atmosphere, brotherhood and harmony are created in the state. He said that in the coming times, excellent players will emerge from Rajasthan, who will bring laurels to the state.

On this occasion, Minister of State for Sports Ashok Chandna said that the spirit of “Fit Rajasthan-Hit Rajasthan” is realized through the organization of these games. He said that the teams that win at the state level will build sports stadiums worth 50 lakhs each in their villages under the Mahatma Gandhi NREGA scheme. Likewise, athletes who become state champions will have an advantage in recruiting militias.

Chandna said a plan would be put in place to give athletes priority when applying to public colleges. Tracksuits will be awarded to the winning players at the district level, while medals and certificates will be awarded to the winners at the tehsil level. At the same time, jerseys will be made available to all of the approximately 57,000 players participating in the games. The event was attended by Chief Secretary Usha Sharma, State Secretary of Sports Department Naresh Kumar Thakral and other officials.
