Following the approval of Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment issued an order for its formation.
5 unofficial and 7 official members: In total, the Board will have 5 non-official members, including the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and 3 members. Along with this, in addition to the departments of Industry, School Education (Primary/Secondary) and Sanskrit Education, Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Labor and Employment and Social Justice and Empowerment etc. Chief Secretary/Principal Government Secretary/Government Secretary or his representative (Joint Director level departmental officer), Joint Director level officer of Skill, Planning and Entrepreneurship Department, Rajasthan Swarna Kala Vikas Board Secretary will be in this board as official member.
This council will prepare innovative schemes to improve the situation of the people of the Teli community, identify problems and present proposals to the state government. Along with preserving and promoting Teli Gani, the council will perform other work, including skills development training, promoting entrepreneurship, promoting employment and self-employment opportunities for youth, reviewing the implementation of council-related budget announcements, sharing good practices from other states, and monitoring the physical and financial goals of council-related training programs run by various departments.
The Managing Director of the Rajasthan State Corporation for Finance and Development of Other Backward Classes Limited or his representative will be specially invited. At the same time, a staff member at the Joint Director level of the Skills and Enterprise Planning Department will serve as secretary to the Council. The Department of Skills, Employment and Entrepreneurship will be the administrative department of the Council.
