Jaipur Abhayindia.com The state government is constantly making important decisions to promote employment in the state. In this sequence, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot approved the Vishwakarma Kamgar Kalyan Yojana project.
Under this scheme, 1 million people of various categories will receive assistance of Rs 5,000 each for the purchase of necessary equipment, kits, sewing machines, etc. These will include Rajasthan Shilp and Mati Kala Council, Rajasthan State Council Kesh Kala, Rajasthan State Council Vimukt Gumantu and Ard Gumantu Social Welfare Board, Craft Scheme administered by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, Rajivika/NULM women and artisans designated by Ministry of Labor workers.
With this decision, better self-employment opportunities will be available to people in these classes. Notably, Gehlot announced the inclusion of Vishwakarma Kamgar Kalyan Yojana in the 2023-2024 budget.
